Taking a daily vitamin is a good idea. The soil is not what it used to be and our crops are not filled with all of the nutrients that they once had. Instead our food is now grown with pesticides and chemicals that make them look big, but lack nutrients. Also, now they don’t have nutrients, they also have added chemicals to them. Researchers are studying the effects of this as we speak and in the future we will know a lot more about it. When you take vitamins you can safe guard against any type of deficiency. Vitamin deficiencies are a real problem and research has shown that taking a vitamin supplement can help safe guard against it. It is not really clear as to what is the best brand, other than it should be a balance of all vitamins to cover the basis. This is called a multivitamin. Unless you have a specific deficiency, this should do it for you. Always take your daily vitamin with a glass of water and on an empty stomach. They are even making vitamins now that you can pour into your water and it tastes good, this is a great alternative for those of you who have difficulties swallowing pills. It is hard to measure prevention, but doing this everyday might help you down the road.
