Everyone has had a bad run at the poker online table. You know the kind that I am talking about, when nothing is going your way and you are convinced that you will never see another good card. What separates the boys from the men at the poker online table is how they handle a bad run. Do you handle it with grace? Or do you whine and complain like a spoiled child? If you fall into the latter camp, your perpetual complaining could be detrimental to your ban balance. It’s just going to hurt you in the long run.
If you ever want to be considered a professional, you need to cut the complaints. Whining at the table just makes you look like an amateur, even if your poker online skills are top notch. This is one of those instances where poker is more about perception than reality. It’s the same basic tenet that governs online gambling and table image; how you present yourself is how other players see you. People who lack the maturity to play gracefully are widely considered to lack the mental maturity to play a good game. If you throw a hissy fit at the table, the sharks will swarm. For your own good, cut the complaints.
